Job summary
this position involves overseeing the security team to protect assets and employee physical security.
duties and responsibilities:
* supervise and regulate the security team, maintain equipment, and train staff; update security manuals.
* conduct investigations and system analysis as needed; report consequences of events.
* monitor violations of security procedures/regulations; report and apply necessary preventive measures.
* support security personnel based on identified needs; monitor access control, cctv, archived videos, and access control; maintain historical records and images.
* ensure reception area security; establish protocols for receptionist staff.
* maintain relationships with neighboring plants' security representatives to ensure interplant security safe zone.
* monitor expatriate personnel and visitors working in the plant; ensure compliance with relevant laws regarding work permits.
* protect reputation by keeping information confidential.
* maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, and professional societies.
* contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed.
* comply with health and safety guidelines and rules.
* motivate and lead a high-performance team by attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining team members.
* drive performance management processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and facilitating employee development.

requirements:
* high school diploma or additional 5 years of experience.
* 5+ years of experience in a security field.
* prior supervisory experience.
