We are looking for an *it & security manager*.
we're looking for someone to manage our internal networks, computer systems, and security.
you will help the company comply with security requirements, ensure the employees' computers are supported, and help drive technical decisions for the executive team.
you'll work closely with our sales and exec teams to ensure our clients have confidence in our network security and receive our services on time.
main responsibilities
- effectively communicate project requirements, deliverables, and status to multiple stakeholders on all sides of the business.
- be extremely organized and capable of managing multiple deadline-driven projects.
- work with and support distributed test teams across mexico
- manage and maintain internal networks and computer systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- ensure compliance with relevant security requirements and standards.
- provide technical support and troubleshooting for employee computers and it issues.
- collaborate with sales and executive teams to align it and security strategies with business goals.
- implement and monitor security measures to protect company data and infrastructure.
- drive technical decisions and contribute to strategic planning with the executive team.
essential requirements
- bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3- 5 years of relevant industry experience managing it & security projects
- strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including firewalls, vpns, and intrusion detection systems.
- experience working with cloud platform security software
- strong understanding of network security and functionality
- experience working with jira / confluence / google gsuite
- strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address technical issues efficiently.
- excellent written and verbal english skills (b2 proficiency or better)
nice to have
- deep understanding of security best practices and frameworks, including soc 2, iso *, and nist.
- experience working with it vendors and subcontractors
- excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
