Supervisor i, securitythis role is within chamberlain group's nogales human resources group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) regulate and supervise the security department in order to safeguard chamberlain assets, the goods produced, and the physical security of the employees; maintain department equipment and continuously train the security team; keep the security department manual updated, and (ii) conduct assigned investigations and system analysis as needed; report the consequence of events. Requires 5+ years of experience in a security area and a minimum of a bachelor's degree or additional 5 years of related experience.- regulate and supervise the security department in order to safeguard chamberlain assets, the goods produced, and the physical security of the employees; maintain department equipment and continuously train the security team; keep the security department manual updated - conduct assigned investigations and system analysis as needed; report the consequence of events - monitor for violations of the security procedures/regulations; report and/or apply the necessary preventive and correcting measures - provide support to security personnel based on identified needs; monitor the access control, fire alarm, cctv, archived videos and access control; maintain historical records and images - assist leadership with managing the department budget; responsibly administer all department expenses to prevent waste and mismanagement - responsible for security of the reception area; establish protocols and procedures for receptionist staff - maintain relationships with the security representatives of neighboring plants to ensure an interplant security safe zone - responsible for monitoring migratory program for all expatriate personnel and visitors that work in the plant and for corporate personnel that visit the plant; ensure compliance with the mexican immigration issuance of fmn and fm3 permits is current; responsible as a team member for coordinating the application process and dissemination of any change in the immigration laws and regulations - protect chamberlain group's reputation by keeping information confidential - maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies - contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed - comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. - motivate and lead a high-performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members - drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company's policies - maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, im and regular interpersonal communications - lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the chamberlain group mission, vision and values.education/certifications:bachelor degree and/ or additional 5 years of related experienceexperience:- 5+ years of experience in a security area - 2+ as handler -k9 and/or as supervisor.knowledge, skills, and abilities:- working knowledge of migratory processes - working knowledge of ccure 9000 (supervisory level) - advance security knowledge - working knowledge of first aid and cpr, evacuations, search and rescue, firefighting and use of firefighting equipment - working knowledge of c-tpat and trailers inspection - working knowledge of submission techniques and conflict resolution - working knowledge of microsoft office and related applications - working knowledge of cctv operation and gps operation
