Senior pipeline validation specialist
we are seeking a seasoned pipeline validation expert to join our team in migrating high-impact next-generation sequencing (ngs) pipelines from the seven bridges genomics platform to an aws-based solution, utilizing aws healthomics and the ddw data environment.
this role requires a deep understanding of reproducibility and determinism in ngs workflows. The ideal candidate will possess experience with aws services, modern workflow engines, and python or shell scripting.
key responsibilities:
1. pipeline test harness design: develop automated test harnesses to ensure reproducible pipeline outputs.
2. output comparison: perform structured comparisons of outputs against legacy results using json diffs and vcf concordance.
3. defect tracking: track defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure quality gates are met before release.
