laboratory assistant — 24 posts — pay level 5 (7th cpc) with distribution across categories
junior scientific officer (dna forensics) — 1 post — pay level 7
senior scientific officer (forensic/multimedia/other) — 1 post — pay level 10 or 6 as applicable
selection process
laboratory assistant & junior scientific officer: selection based on merit of marks in written test
senior scientific officer: selection based on overall record and performance in interview
shortlisting may be done based on experience or screening tests if the number of applicants is high
probation: selected candidates on probation for two years
