we are currently looking for a senior database administrator (dba)
key responsibilities:
* plan and execute the migration of sql server databases and transactional replication schemas to snowflake.
* ensure data consistency, security, and minimal downtime throughout the migration process.
* monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance post-migration.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database architecture with business needs.
* document configurations, processes, and best practices for ongoing operations.
* provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders during and after migration.
requirements:
* 5+ years of proven experience as a database administrator.
* on-site scheme neoris office monterrey/mexico
* advanced english communication skills, both written and spoken.
* strong expertise in sql server, including service broker and transactional replication.
* experience with database migration projects, preferably involving cloud or hybrid environments.
* solid understanding of performance tuning, security management, and backup/recovery strategies.
* proficiency in snowflake. (nice to have)
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
