what you will do:
1. responsible for leading all financial activities of the site, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with corporate policies and mexican tax immex regulations.
2. the role partners with operations to drive cost efficiency, support decision-making, and ensure financial discipline and compliance of the manufacturing (maquiladora) environment.
3. oversee accounting records, monthly close, statutory reporting, and financial reporting accuracy.
4. ensure compliance with us gaap, ifrs, sox, mexican tax regulations, immex, isr, vat, transfer pricing, imss, and local statutory requirements.
5. lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
6. manage cost accounting, inventory controls, fixed assets, and standard costing processes, payroll, cost.
7. supervise treasury, accounts payable, payroll, tax, and internal controls.
8. lead internal, external, statutory, and tax audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
9. develop, implement, and communicate accounting policies, procedures, systems, and controls.
10. partner with operations to identify cost savings, productivity improvements, and profitability opportunities.
11. provide leadership, mentoring, and development to the finance team.
12. analyze complex accounting issues and provide recommendations to leadership
qualifications you must have
13. education:bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
14. 7–10+ years ofdemonstratedprogressive experience in finance and accounting roles
15. minimum of 5 years ofdemonstratedexperience in maquiladora and/or manufacturing environments, with strong cost accounting responsibilities
16. provenexperience managing sox compliance and internal control processes
17. strongknowledgeandpractical application of us gaap and ifrs standards
18. hands-on experience with erp systems such as sap, innova, tress,as well as advanced excel skills
19. advanced english communication skills, both written and verbal

20. advancedproficiencyin excel and financial modeling
21. ability to analyze complex accounting issues and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
22. strong experience in manufacturing environments; aerospace industry experience is highly preferred
23. excellent analytical, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
