what you’ll do?
we seek a seasoned senior delivery manager to lead the charge in our technology department within reinsurance division. This leadership role goes beyond a typical scrum master, requiring a strategic approach to managing iterative delivery.
* extensive experience in agile project management, preferably in a delivery manager or similar role
* strong understanding of agile methodologies, such as scrum, kanban, and lean
* excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
* experience in business liaison, bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders
* familiarity with project deployment, change management, and business readiness activities
* knowledge of internal compliance processes and relevant regulations
* proficient in using agile project management tools, such as azure devops or jira
* strong problem-solving and risk management abilities
* ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
what you’ll bring:
* lead agile transformation: implement and refine agile methodologies throughout the technology lifecycle, ensuring continuous improvement and value delivery.
* bridge the gap & drive value: act as the primary liaison between development teams and stakeholders, fostering open communication and collaboration to ensure clear business value realization.
* orchestrate deployments: coordinate and support deployments of critical technology solutions, minimizing risks and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
* cultivate business readiness: facilitate business readiness activities, including user training, process documentation, and change management initiatives.
* ensure compliance & quality: oversee internal compliance processes, including risk assessments, data protection, and quality assurance.
* proactive risk management: monitor delivery progress, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
* champion continuous improvement: promote a culture of continuous improvement within teams, encouraging them to adopt best practices and enhance their work methods.
* facilitate agile ceremonies: facilitate relevant agile events, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
* cross-functional collaboration: collaborate with other delivery managers, project managers, and it professionals to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
