Promote the continuous improvement process and a safety culture. A. Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area. B. Prepare report daily production status. C. Coordinate, leverage, and utilize appropriately resources to resolve manufacturing problems, improve processes and meet external and internal customer demands. D. Provide and implement training that will enable personnel to better perform. E. Coordinate and administer employees: attendance, punctuality, overtime, vacations, and permissions. F. Act as a business partner by planning, initiating, leading, measuring, monitoring and assessing continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate eaton business systems (ebs) processes and problem-solving tools such as els (eaton lean system) and 5s. G. Maintain and report accurate inventory numbers while continually seeking ways to reduce work in progress (wip) inventory levels and maximizing product flow while identifying and implementing cost out opportunities. H. Participate in setting, communicating and achieving department goals and develop and maintain performance metrics as required to monitor results and use those results as a tool to identify and initiate process improvements within own work area.
