As *quality engineer *you will control & assure the quality of finished products, through the different process steps (including molding, & assembly, packaging & storage), focusing on consumer & customer satisfaction, continuous improvement & operational optimization*. *you will also be responsible for the following activities:
- responsible for safety, quality health and environmental protection, in accordance to saltillo´s plant integral policy.
- stablishes and communicates the necessary strategies and kpi´s to comply with the business objectives and customer satisfaction. Implements systems that promote continuous improvement and a strong culture towards quality.
- designs, develops & implements robust quality processes and systems to assure compliance with quality standards, regulations & customer requirements,
- utilizes statistical analysis and data
- driven methods to monitor and evaluate process performance, identifying trends, and proactively addresses potential quality concerns.
- leading the quality inspectors team, providing technical & personal support.
- demonstrate technical abilities to assure quality throughout the processes & personal abilities to manage people, as well as internal and external customers.
- coordinate with the plant team, actions plans to reduce or eliminate non-conformities that can lead to risk the product quality.
- take timely decisions regarding non-conforming product, materials, shipments, urgent materials.
- coordinate efforts between areas, to inspect products, or in case re work is needed.
- determines, implements & maintains quality controls on the different processes, to continuously improve its performance, developing quality control plans.
- leads problem -solving initiatives and drives successful outcomes in a fast - paced, dynamic environment.
- leads & supports new product, machine, & process validation activities, including developing protocols, conducting / leading testing, analyzing results & implementing improvements.
- conducts thorough risk assessments to identify potential quality risks and develops risk mitigation strategies.
*qualification required*:
- engineering degree (chemical or similar).
- expertise as a quality process engineer or in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- english advanced/fluent
- excellent problem
- desirable: high proven expertise in plastic injection processes.
- desirable: proficiency in statistical analysis software (minitab)
- strong project management skills.
- familiarity with quality standards & processes. (iso 9001)
- continuous learning mindset.
