Your tasks
* conduct regular market research and analysis for own categories.
* support global/regional category manager in defining strategies based on relevant market research and analysis.
* implement strategies according to activities defined by the global/regional category strategy.
* contribute to global strategy development in similar categories within the area and regions, including the development and implementation of local strategies.
* manage contracts, coordinating with the legal department, identifying need for templates, and drafting templates together with legal.
* continuously monitor activities for opportunities to maximize procurement value contribution.
* ensure performance of total spend in own category, including timely documentation of procurement kpis (e.g., savings) and regular data aggregation to manage performance.
* maintain and ensure quality of relevant master data for supported negotiation and contracting processes (e.g., category spends, contractual terms, supplier data).
* drive process development focusing on standardization, efficiency, and automation, including applying new technologies and implementing purchase-related processes, methods, and systems, while monitoring adherence.
* manage content of ecatalogues and other automated order channels to enhance automation.
* work actively with suppliers to develop innovative solutions.
* manage supplier complaints within their responsibility.
your profile
* university degree.
* at least 3 years of experience.
* business fluent in english; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
* advanced excel skills.
* knowledge of sap.
* experience managing functional projects in a matrix organization.
* strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* proactive, pragmatic, cost-conscious, creative, and result-driven.
