Role description
this is a full-time hybrid role for a director financiero in the hospitality sector, based in the mexico city metropolitan area, with some remote work flexibility. The director financiero is responsible for overseeing financial planning, preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Additional responsibilities include evaluating financial performance, developing strategies for financial growth, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
qualifications
* 5 years hospitality experience ( hotels, restaurants or catering service a must)
* expertise in financial planning and strategy development to support organizational growth
* proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements and ensuring their accuracy
* strong background in finance and financial reporting, including compliance with regulations and accounting standards
* demonstrated analytical skills to assess financial data, forecast trends, and make informed decisions
* exceptional organizational and communication skills
* advanced proficiency in financial management software and tools
* bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is required; a master’s degree or cpa certification is highly advantageous
* experience in the hospitality industry or similar service-oriented sector is preferred
