the network infrastructure manager is accountable for the maintenance, monitoring, and stability of voice, data, video, and wireless network services. This encompasses lan's and wan's across a global organization.
* install, maintain, and troubleshoot lan/wan equipment at domestic and international locations as well as internet connectivity.
* perform administration, configuration, and monitoring of all network equipment including: routers, switches, access points, firewalls, load balancers, and dmvpn appliances.
* conduct bandwidth analysis and capacity planning to ensure performance and scalability of the network.
* maintain up-to-date network documentation.
* provide liaison support for system administrators, web, and application development teams as needed.
this role requires a strong understanding of cisco networking equipment, including advanced knowledge of cisco ios and networking protocols.
key responsibilities:
* lan/wan equipment maintenance: perform routine maintenance tasks on lan/wan equipment at various locations worldwide, ensuring optimal network performance.
* network monitoring: regularly monitor network activity and status to quickly identify potential issues and resolve them before they impact operations.
* collaboration with teams: work closely with system administrators, web developers, and application development teams to ensure seamless integration and communication between departments.
technical requirements:

* experience with lan/wan equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
