Overview the specialist, tax will work with activities associated to the monthly, quarterly and yearly tax compliance, including tax calculations, fulfillment of returns, preparation of information returns, tax accounting, etc. This position will monitor and guarantee the reasonableness of the tax account balances, and will provide first level guidance to diverse teams in the organization to foster that the information of all reports needed for reconciling all the payments to vendors, members, employee reimbursements, and tax calculations is being processed in compliance with the local regulation; therefore, must have expert knowledge in the use of the systems, accounting standards and the tax regulatory framework. In addition, this position provides support in high complexity duties in regard to requirements of the authorities in connection with the vat refunds, offsetting of favorable tax balances, or field audits. Detailed responsibilities validate that the data needed to calculate taxes and elaborate the information returns is downloaded and properly processed. Establish communication with other departments to provide tax guidance to promote the correctness of the information from a tax perspective. Review the monthly tax prepayments (it, vat, excise tax, & withholding taxes). Review the monthly reconciliation of the tax accounts, tax roll forward, reconciliation of funds and reports of hnf, and e-books reports. Prepare the draft of the annual tax return, statutory report and transfer pricing activities. Collaborate with high complexity duties in regarding to the internal and external audit procedures. Prepare the quarterly and annual reports for the foreign investment national registry. Validate the preparation and submission of the information returns (diot and excise tax). File the annual shareholder’s notice. Qualifications skills technical skills strong understanding in accounting standards for multinational corporations. Strong knowledge of the federal and state tax framework. Corporate taxes and international taxes. Proficient in the use of excel. Use of micro strategy bi it is a plus. Knowledge with erp software; oracle is highly recommended. Soft skills ability to perform a wide variety of tax activities of a broad scope. Teamwork collaboration; aligns work with people. Demonstrated high ethical standards. Good communications skills. Languages intermediate / advanced spoken and writing english. Experience 5 years of tax compliance experience, in a wide range of tasks related to accounting and local taxes. Annual income tax return and statutory report. Interpretation and application of local tax regulation. Internal and external audits. Education bachelor’s degree in accounting postgraduate in taxes it is a plus. J-18808-ljbffr
