Job description:
summary:
as a mechanical engineer you will work closely within a small dynamic team to complete several small to large projects.
you will be assigned to advanced projects with details, requirements, and deadlines where you will use your engineering, design, drafting and testing skills towards completing projects and overcoming challenges.
you will participate in technical meetings to review project progression, the performance of team members, and recourse management.
key responsibilities:
- take direction from team lead or project manager to perform min-projects in direct support of bracing development activities and verification testing
- create 2d/3d cad models and technical drawings files following company drafting standards
- support and creation of design verification testing, including writing test protocols, overseeing test progress, providing direct input in test activities, and preparing test reports at completion
- technical writing in support and creation of design inputs, design outputs, qualification activities, quality and regulatory requirements
- contact outside suppliers related to design activities
qualifications:
- bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial, mechanical, biomedical or related career)
- 3+ years of related experience
- demonstrated, strong mechanical aptitude
- excellent written and oral communication skills in english
- demonstrated solidworks and autocad experience or other cad software tools
- usa valid visa.

- experience with solidworks, autocad or equivalent cad tools is highly preferred.
