*responsibilities*:
- financial lead in area of inventory, production costs, cost allocation, pricing, and cost reduction
- support engineering in determining article masters, bill of materials and production cycle times
- support engineering in activities related to equipment rois, productivity, & investment
- support materials in material controls, purchase costs, and inventory
- support production in reporting production costs, and cost saving projects
- support on month closing and budgeting process
- work with engineering department to determine cost structures and manufacturing processes, as well as financial costing assumptions and operations surcharges in the plant erp system
- work with engineering department to prepare costing for new product introduction & customer quotations
- work with engineering department to keep current cost structures, boms & routers up to date
- work with materials department to monitor purchased materials costs, price books & material consumption
- work with materials department to monitor reporting to verify system integrity in shipping and receiving areas
- work with production department to monitor and verify reporting of product movement through production areas, to validate controls, system cost & inventories
- identify and drive cost savings projects
- financial lead in month-end inventories
- review and reporting of material consumption, absorption, and variance reporting
- oversee cost allocation process, and interface with germany in standardization and cost reduction efforts
- support in developing the annual budget
- responsible for financial analysis related to productivity investment, and new equipment rois
- responsible for plant asset inventory of machinery and equipment
- support sales & project management with customer costing analysis, sales reports & pricing
- support in month-end closing and perpetual inventory comparison vs imex inventory
- designated point of contact for audit of product cost, inventory and capital machinery & equipment
- utilize financial & production systems, incl.
infor, lucanet, ms office, etc.
- support the financial controller in other delegated activities & projects
*required skills*:
- 5+ years experience
- associates degree or equivalent work history
