Plm project lead

This role is within chamberlain group's nogales engineering plm group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) lead multiple high, medium, and low complexity product lifecycle management (plm), quality improvement and business development projects; serve as mentor for team members, and (ii) manages multiple project teams ensuring program milestones are met on time and within program budget; provide strategic direction, assign responsibilities and address issues for project teams. Requires 5+ years of experience in managing multiple projects with prior experience in a manufacturing environment and a minimum of a bachelor's degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience.lead multiple high, medium, and low complexity product lifecycle management (plm), quality improvement and business development projects and programs; serve as mentor for team membersmanages multiple project teams ensuring program milestones are met on time and within program budget; provide strategic direction, assign responsibilities and address issues for project teamsmanage projects at the operations level with cross-functional teams, ensuring project milestones are meet on time and within project budget; provide direction, assign responsibilities and address issues for project team members, understanding their unique and complimentary roles, interdependencies and responsibility of each within the project frameworkimplement and approve action plans and workarounds to mitigate project risk eventsmeet stakeholder expectations and established project deliverables; write proposals (technical descriptions, schedules, cost breakdowns)coordinate the efforts for functional departments to ensure that the projects are managed in accordance with established policies and procedures; support and implement policies, procedures and operational guidelines related to established quality management system (ts 16949, apqp and aiag)manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniquesidentify and communicate high-level risks, assumptions and constraintsdevelop cost estimates and execute cost reduction strategiescreate strong customer relations and communication including negotiations and delivery of servicesmentor and provide guidance to project managers, project leads and analyst.education/certifications:bachelor's degree, technical degree, or equivalent experiencepmp certification strongly recommended: or commitment to obtain certification within one (1) year of date of hire or promotion.six sigma green belt certification strongly recommended: or commitment to obtain within two (2) years of date of hire or promotionexperience:5+ years of experience in managing multiple projects with prior experience in a manufacturing environmentknowledge, skills, and abilities:excellent leadership skillsstrong computer skills (especially ms project or similar software)strong knowledge of windchillworking knowledge of sapproven ability to create detailed project plans and use resources efficientlyability to gather complex data and diagnose the cause of a problemother:advanced english proficiency
