The individual in this position will play an integral role in developing strategies to build and implement technological capabilities, managing the firm’s projects and day-to-day operations, implementing new business strategies, working with clients, and developing new products and business areas.deputy director of operationsmexico city, mexicoabout the roleemerging markets political risk analysis (empra) and its sister organization, advanced intelligence solutions (ais), are looking for a deputy director of operations with strong entrepreneurial instincts and a passion for problem-solving. The individual in this position will play an integral role in developing strategies to build and implement technological capabilities, managing the firm’s projects and day-to-day operations, implementing new business strategies, working with clients, and developing new products and business areas.the successful candidate will have experience in project management, building relationships with clients and other stakeholders, and ideally have experience in the consulting sector.responsibilitiesdevelop and implement new business strategiescreate plans to engage new business areas (including the elaboration of new data-focused tools and services)manage various teams and ensure the completion of tasksbuild new teams to expand business areasuse client feedback to strengthen capacities and deliver actionable resultsmanage colleagues to ensure coordination across business areasfacilitate business developmentimplement and monitor compliance protocolsmanage the recruitment process with internal stakeholdersfacilitate the exchange of ideas across the empra and ais teamsidentify risks and develop and implement strategies to address themmange operational and administrative tasksrequired traits & capacities5+ years of work experience with at least 3 years in the consulting sector or a similar fieldat least 3 years of experience managing others in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentminimum of a bachelor’s degree in any business or social science-related fieldexcellent english (both written and spoken)demonstrated experience working directly with clients to develop projects and meet deadlinesexcellent communications skillsknowledge of microsoft office 365, microsoft excel, microsoft word, microsoft powerpoint, airtable, and keynotefavored traitsa master’s degree in a relevant fieldinterest in data and technology and its application to risk mitigationknowledge of project financeknowledge of any of the following platforms/software: wix, wordpress, adobe creative suite and/or google adwordsfamiliarity with mexico and/or latin america’s security challenges and political environmentcompensationcompensation will be commensurate with the position offered to the successful candidate and their qualifications and experience.compensation packages for managers include a commission program based on business expansion.application requirementscandidates should submit a cover letter and cv to careers@ais-intelligence.com.
