we are seeking a sales director to lead the end-to-end commercial strategy and p&l for mexico, driving profitable growth across fossil group's portfolio. This role is located in cdmx (ciudad de mexico) and sets the country direction, owns strategic customer relationships, and ensures world‐class execution across the wholesale channel, while building strong organizational capability and long‐term market leadership.

country strategy, p&l & key account leadership

own the mexico country strategy and full p&l across all brands and channels, managing revenue, margin, and oi.

define and execute 3-year strategic growth plans and annual operating plans by brand, and customer.

serve as the senior executive contact for top accounts (liverpool, coppel, sears, sanborns, palacio, amazon) leading joint business planning, commercial negotiations, and long‐term partnerships.

identify and unlock white‐space opportunities across doors, regions, price tiers, categories, and digital expansion.

translate global brand strategies for fossil, michael kors, armani exchange, skechers, diesel and tory burch into localized commercial and assortment strategies.

ensure price integrity and channel harmony between marketplaces and traditional wholesale. Own category and price‐tier architecture by customer (good/better/best, opening price points, hero skus).

lead all commercial terms and negotiations: pricing architecture, discount structure, payment terms, and profitability frameworks.

forecasting, planning & performance management

own the country sales forecast and actively lead s&op with planning and supply chain teams.

drive sell‐in and sell‐out performance management, inventory health, turns, and markdown efficiency.

use pos, marketplace data, and analytics to drive faster, smarter commercial decisions.

people leadership & cross-functional influence

lead, coach, and develop the mexico commercial organization.

foster a high‐performance, talent‐first culture with strong succession planning.

act as the mexico business leader with global brand teams, finance, marketing, supply chain, and hr.

ensure compliance with corporate governance, local regulations, and customer contracts.

manage credit, returns, and customer risk exposure in partnership with finance.

maintain a sharp pov on competitive activity, pricing shifts, innovation trends, and consumer behavior.

profile

proven leader in multi‐brand, multi‐channel consumer goods (fashion, accessories, footwear, lifestyle).

track record managing $30m–$75m p&l scale with complex retail partners.

deep experience with mexican department stores and marketplaces.

highly strategic, data‐driven, and commercially fearless.

strong people developer with executive‐level customer presence.
