Summary
you will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with hyatt international's corporate strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The director of revenue provides revenue accounting leadership and business best practices to the hotel. The director of revenue has responsibility for all technical accounting aspects of hotel's revenue streams. This role will provide key leadership surrounding the hotel's revenue recognition policies and will regularly interface with the sales, operations and marketing organizations. The director of revenue is also responsible for royalty accounting and invoicing, and has two direct reports.

- _utilize industry-leading revenue management tools and systems to enhance decision-making processes with unparalleled precision and efficiency._
- *forecasting and reporting*:
- _lead the preparation of accurate and insightful revenue forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management._
- _generate detailed reports and analysis on key performance indicators, market trends, and financial results._
- _identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost control through data-driven insights._
- *team leadership and training*:
- _provide ongoing training and development to ensure the team stays abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends._
- _foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the revenue management department._

*qualifications*:
ideally with a university degree in stretegic marketing or hospitality/tourism management. An mba would be an asset. Minimum 2 years work experience as director of revenue or revenue manager, as well as good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
