We are seeking a plant controller to support operational performance and lead a local finance team within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
this role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, and strategic financial support to operations leadership.
as a key member of the site leadership team, you will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring compliance with internal controls, driving financial planning activities, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve performance targets.
key responsibilities
- lead all financial planning and analysis (fp&a) activities including monthly closings, forecasts, and annual budget processes.
- provide strategic financial insights and act as a co-pilot to operations leadership.
- manage and develop a local finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and operational kpis.
- oversee inventory and capital expenditure (capex) accounting and controls.
- ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements.
- deliver timely and accurate reporting for both internal stakeholders and corporate teams.
- prepare weekly financial updates and lead variance analysis discussions.
- identify areas for cost improvement and lead initiatives for financial efficiency.
- support new projects, strategic initiatives, and special financial studies.

qualifications
- bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
preferred: mba or relevant postgraduate.
- advanced proficiency in english (written and spoken).
- minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance roles, including fp&a, cost accounting, or financial control in a manufacturing or operational setting.
- at least 2 years of managerial experience, ideally with site-level financial leadership.
