*what you will do*:
- build a solid understanding of ecolab products, customer plant operations and business objectives, and applicable government regulations.
- develop strategic work plans for completing sales targets and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers.
- prepare and deliver sales presentations on ecolab's innovative products, equipment and services.
- provide industry expertise to customers in terms of sanitation, safety, quality and operations; including assisting with sanitation plans and programs, standard operating procedures, evaluating processes and procedures, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, and employee training.
- manage ecolab products and equipment; participate in equipment installations, observe and test equipment and product performance, repair or adjust equipment, adjust chemical concentration levels, monitor product inventory and place orders.
- implement agreed upon corporate account commitments and proactively inform corporate account manager (cam's) of results, challenges and initiatives
- communicate effectively with all levels of plant staff; build strong business relationships and networks
- follow ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements.

- route territory will include: cities/area

north america:
*minimum qualifications*:
- bachelor's degree or equivalent in dairy, food or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry or related field.
- 2 years technical sales experience in meat, processed food, dairy, and poultry sector or the beverage and brewing sector.
- possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
- willingness and ability to travel by car throughout territory, including periodic overnight travel, could be required to be on-call during off-work hours and weekends when needed.
- immigration sponsorship to work in the country is not available for this role.
