Customer quality engineer (cqe)
will represent the voice of the oem customer within the organization, ensuring compliance with international standards and leading quality processes in metalworking programs. The mission is to guarantee customer satisfaction and the successful execution of projects in the automotive sector.
* act as the primary liaison between oem customers and the organization, ensuring requirements are met in metal-related projects.
* lead and manage the apqp process across all program phases.
* coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to meet standards such as iatf 16949, aiag, and customer-specific requirements.
* develop and monitor project plans, design reviews, validations, and ppap approvals.
* participate in continuous improvement activities, including fmea, msa, spc, and va/ve.
* collaborate with suppliers on readiness activities: run at rate, validation testing, and quality audits.
* support new program launches and manufacturing processes in the automotive metals sector.
* bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration.
* minimum 5 years of experience in projects, processes, or manufacturing within the automotive industry.
* knowledge of gd&t and oem customer specifications.
* proven ability to manage complex project plans and coordinate teams.
* advanced english (preferred).
* strong ability to interpret and analyze technical procedures.
* independent, organized work style with effective time management.
* excellent communication skills with oem customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
