Job title:mandarin account manager – ocean freight, drayage & warehousinglocation:remote (open to latam talent around the world)employment type:full-timebase salary:$2,500 – $3,500 usd per month (based on experience)working hours:3:00 pm – 11:00 pm mountain time (mst)about the rolewe are seeking a highly skilled and multilingual account manager to manage and grow client relationships across our china-based accounts. This role is critical in ensuring seamless coordination across ocean freight, drayage, and warehousing operations while delivering an exceptional client experience.the ideal candidate brings deep logistics expertise, strong cross-cultural communication skills, and the ability to proactively manage complex supply chain needs.key responsibilitiesserve as the primary point of contact for china-based clients, managing day-to-day communication and long-term relationship growthcoordinate end-to-end logistics operations including ocean freight, drayage, and warehousing servicesensure timely and accurate shipment execution, troubleshooting issues and providing proactive updates to clientscollaborate with internal teams (operations, customs, warehouse, carriers) to ensure service excellencemonitor shipment milestones, kpis, and service-level agreements (slas)identify opportunities to upsell or expand services within existing accountsresolve escalations efficiently while maintaining strong client trustmaintain detailed records in crm and internal systemsprovide regular reporting on account performance, volumes, and client feedbackqualificationslanguage requirements: fluent in mandarin, english, and spanish (written and spoken) – mandatoryexperience: 1+ years of experience in logistics, specifically in ocean freight, drayage, and/or warehousingproven experience managing international client accounts, preferably with china-based customersstrong understanding of global supply chain operations, incoterms, and shipping documentationexperience working with freight forwarders, nvoccs, or 3 pl providers is highly preferredexcellent problem-solving and organizational skillsability to manage multiple shipments and accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentproficiency in crm systems and logistics software platformskey competenciescross-cultural communication and relationship managementattention to detail and operational accuracyproactive mindset with strong ownership of accountsability to navigate ambiguity and resolve logistical challenges quicklycommercial awareness and client growth mindsetwhy join usbe part of a growing, international logistics company with strong exposure to china–latam trade laneswork in a dynamic environment where your impact on client success is highly visiblecollaborate with a global team across multiple time zones
