job description:
the network infrastructure team is responsible for designing, building, and improving data center network infrastructure and platforms. The team implements high-quality solutions that meet time, cost, and scope specifications while following global architecture standards to ensure network stability and reliability.
key responsibilities:
* implement dc network solutions based on design packages, defining project priorities with customers.
* execute network design packets according to global architecture standards, fulfilling various infrastructure requirements to support mexican environments.
* partner with network core and engineering for product installation and acceptance, highlighting gaps in product parameter testing for production readiness.
* collaborate with global security teams to build network infrastructure and platform solutions, ensuring high quality, security, reliability, and performance.
* compile necessary information to create build packages and maintain design templates.
* track and implement change requests (cr's), ensuring network hw is in trellis, network designs are in netinfo, and dns/firewall/proxy/load balancer changes are in line with network change.
* document and keep the data base net info up-to-date with associated infrastructure and network designs for each banamex model-entity.
* support banamex mx corporate network, maintaining an appropriate standard scheme for business entities' correct functioning through network infrastructure.
required skills and qualifications:
* expertise in data center network technology, including high-capacity routers, lan switches, etc.
* knowledge and experience in network segmentation.
* broad experience in routing and communication of data center, perimeter, security, domains, campus, and branch networks.
* general knowledge in cyber security.
* excellent service attitude, teamwork, and effective communication skills.
* able to work under pressure, remain calm, and objective in a high-pressure environment.
* strong follow-up skills and ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume environment.
