role overview:
as a sales development representative, you will be the first contact point for potential clients in mexico, colombia, and emerging markets. Your main goal is to generate qualified leads, build a robust sales pipeline, and prepare prospects for our account executives to close new business.
key responsibilities:
1. research and identify target companies and decision-makers in it, finance, compliance, and operations.
2. conduct outbound prospecting—cold calls, personalized emails, social selling on linkedin—to discover new opportunities.
3. use sales navigator, industry databases, and web research to maintain a steady flow of marketing qualified leads (mqls).
4. qualification & nurturing
5. engage prospects with insightful questions to assess needs, budget, authority, timeline, and technical fit (bant/spin methodology).
6. present compelling value propositions around proactivanet’s itsm & itam solutions, highlighting differentiators and roi.
7. nurture inbound leads from marketing campaigns, webinars, and events, ensuring prompt follow-up.
8. accurately log activities and update lead statuses in salesforce crm.
9. collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and campaigns.
10. schedule qualified meetings and product demos for account executives, providing detailed lead information.
11. gather feedback on competitors and market trends to inform sales strategies.
12. partner with pre-sales engineers for technical discovery calls when needed.
13. participate in weekly sales meetings to report on progress and pipeline status.

required technical skills & qualifications:
* bachelor’s degree in business, it, or related field.
* 1–2 years in b2b saas sales or lead generation, preferably in itsm, itam, cybersecurity, or infrastructure software.
* experience with salesforce, linkedin sales navigator, and google workspace.
* excellent communication skills in english and spanish.
* knowledge of sales methodologies like bant, meddic, or spin.
* self-motivated with strong organization and follow-through skills.
preferred qualifications:
* experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., hubspot, marketo).
* basic knowledge of network devices, operating systems, and cloud platforms.
* itil foundations v4 or similar itsm certification.
* understanding of it asset lifecycle, service workflows, and saas licensing.
* experience working in multinational or remote teams.
