Role description
this full‑time, on‑site position is located in mexico city, mexica, for a logistics coordinator. The role manages the company’sus domestic logistics operations, coordinating purchase orders, warehouse transfers, and inbound shipments to ensure timely, accurate delivery. The coordinator works closely with suppliers, dray carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal production/material teams.
essential duties and responsibilities
1. inbound shipment tracking & system management (visco & portals)
o update and maintain the visco erp system with shipment milestones (master bill of lading, container numbers, etc.).
o monitor and update status in visco erp (at source, in transit).
o track and input lot numbers into visco erp and update the internal po tracker.
o identify, log, and resolve transit delays; document reasons if a shipment remains in transit for more than 10 days.
2. international & domestic logistics operations
o confirm shipment readiness and departure dates with domestic suppliers.
o schedule and confirm terminal pickups and warehouse delivery appointments with dray carriers, updating the po tracker.
o generate bills of lading on the 3rd‑party platform.
o create inbound orders in the warehouse management system for all inbound shipments.
3. inventory control & warehouse transfers (whts)
o collaborate with production to process and execute warehouse transfers.
o generate and audit collection and delivery documentation for warehouses.
o secure inbound receipts, updating visco erp with receipt dates and numbers.
4. communication & stakeholder collaboration
o provide proactive status and ad‑hoc updates to internal stakeholders.
o participate in logistics implementations and operational alignment calls with freight and broker partners.

language & communication skills
* fluent written and oral english mandatory.
technical and digital skills
* advanced proficiency in microsoft office, especially excel.
* experience with gmail, slack, dropbox, adobe preferred.
* familiarity with proprietary logistics software (erp, dray auction, carrier portals).
physical demands & work environment
* must sit and use keyboard/dual monitors for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 20 lbs, must have acceptable vision for examining digital documents.
* standard office environment, 9‑5 weekdays; may require off‑hour work for shipping.
