First brands group is hiring for a buyer for our plant walbro llc, los mochis sinaloa. The buyer will assist to support the procurement team by managing purchase orders, coordinating with national and international suppliers (mainly in the u.s. and canada), and ensuring timely deliveries and payments in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Job duties and responsibilities: search for suppliers and manage supplier payments. Follow up on purchase orders (pos) and delivery timelines. Support current production buyers in daily operational tasks. Review and reconcile invoices against pos prior to supplier payment. Maintain and organize supplier and purchasing files. Track and resolve invoicing discrepancies and delivery issues. Coordinate with internal teams and existing buyers to expedite orders. Continuously prioritize tasks and adapt to shifting priorities under pressure.
