the ats mx transportation operation management (tom) team is looking for an area manager with a strong delivery record, proven ability to drive process improvement, people management experience, and ability to motivate reporting team members to meet the challenges of an on-time driven environment.
key job responsibilities
* drive high safety standards for all yard operations, ensuring safe work environment for amazon and non-amazon workers.
* audit and ensure compliance to all standard work, nail the plan and environmental regulations.
* meet the otp/otd target per shift.
* own area performance metrics and communicate them to tom manager and site leadership.

* work a rotating, flexible schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays. Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.
* 1+ years of experience directly managing others experience.
* bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, operations, logistics, supply chain or engineering.
* 1+ years of professional work experience.
* experience using strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* speak, write, and read fluently in english.
* experience with six sigma methodologies.
