objective: supervise daily operations at the vehiclepreparation center (vpc), including storage, logistics, warehouse,and workshop activities.
manage and steer on-site supplierperformance, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, andmercedes-benz guidelines.
provide guidance on processstandardization and kpi measurement.
ensure accurate and timelyexecution of the complete payment process for all operationalactivities.
day to day (main tasks): - monitor inventory levels atthe storage yard and warehouse through regular inspections andreporting.
ensure implementation and adherence to all safetyprotocols in accordance with mercedes-benz ag guidelines.
- defineand measure kpis according to operational needs, ensuring alignmentwith the supplier.
closely steer supplier performance through dailydashboards and tracking.
ensure daily productivity targets forprocessed vehicles are met.
- ensure close collaboration betweenthe distribution team, vpc technical manager, and supplier to aligndaily operations, share updates, and monitor tracking andprocessing status.
- ensure quality inspections are conducted andproperly documented.
oversee the execution of maintenance protocolsat each stage of the vpc process in line with vehicle lifecyclerequirements.
- manage vpc budget and expenses, validate invoiceaccuracy for payment approval, and maintain proper tracking of allpayments.
- contribute to overseeing operational safety within theyard, workshop, and warehouse, ensuring facilities and equipmentmeet operational needs in compliance with oea and mbag guidelines.profile: education: engineering automotive degree or similar.previous experience: 5 years in leading technical supervisingpositions.
