Siemens is a leading global technology company with over 175 years of experience. We are currently seeking for you to join in the *sales support role*; you will provide partnership within mexico operations.

*main responsibilities*:
support to the purchasing team in terms of project monitoring, master data (creation, extension, and changes of suppliers).

Monitoring of supplier compliance in terms of documents and audits required by siemens.

Data analysis and creation of daily monitoring reports.

Support for buyers to escalate suppliers due to lack of payments.

Implement commodity strategies:
to ensure long-term, cost-effective supply of materials.

Standardization:
contribute to the implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems

to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant purchase-to-pay (p2p) process, procurement guidelines, it systems).

Negotiations:
prepare and conduct negotiations for low to medium purchasing volumes (for selected, standardized material fields), with support of buyer/ senior buyer in some cases,

savings and relevant kpi

generate, document and implement savings, e.g. Cni; plan, monitor and report on relevant kpi.

To contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent.

Supplier management:
support supplier management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification); update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency.

Customer interface:
ensure a close cooperation with internal customers (requisitioners)

to ensure customer care and early involvement.

Knowledge management:
forward systematically all relevant procurement related project information (e.g. updated contractual conditions, supplier management data) to keep all project participants up to date.

Communication skills:

- excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
