Summary
you will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with hyatt international's corporate strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The director of sales & marketing is responsible to provide leadership in all selling activities within the hotel, working closely with the rooms, food and beverage and other revenue-generating departments to maximize sales through the activities of the sales & marketing department and other employees.
*qualifications*:
- ideally with a university degree or diploma in marketing or hospitality/tourism management.
- minimum 2 years work experience as director of marketing, or director of sales in larger operation.
- good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
- ability to analyze financial and competitive data to make informed decisions.
- prior experience leading, motivating and managing successful sales teams.
- prior brand experience and market knowledge desirable.
