*general summary*
under the direct supervision of the vice president, marketing communications, ptg consulting, and with support from the director, digital marketing, travel group, the *manager or sr. Manager, marketing communications, ptg consulting* is tasked with conceptualizing and executing strategic integrated marketing campaigns, with a primary focus on social and digital channels. Efforts support ptg consulting's wide roster of international and domestic destination and independent hotel clients and new business development efforts.
*duties & responsibilities*
- serve as direct client contact for ptg consulting's portfolio of clients with social and digital media services
- strategic development of social and digital media campaigns and tactics to support client business goals, while incorporating the latest social media trends and technology into client projects
- oversee day-to-day management of social media channels of ptg consulting and its clients
- conceptualize and manage digital and social media marketing campaigns, including content creator/influencer programs and paid advertising
- fam trip management, including managing the development itineraries and providing on-the-ground hosting services
- maintain and grow positive, collaborative relationships with clients across the world via strong cross-cultural communications
- assist with training clients and colleagues on digital marketing and social media practices
- oversee work of direct reports, which could include coordinators and interns, to ensure accurate work and successful completion of key performance indicators
- work collaboratively with a variety of team members to create integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies
- manage all-inclusive budgets
- create performance reports
- provide ideation and budgeting insight for new business opportunities
*organizational relationship*
under the direct supervision of the vice president, marketing communications, the manager or sr. Manager, marketing communications shall liaise with multiple internal departments, business owners, and ptg consulting clients to support their respective activities, and liaise with social media and digital agencies, contractors, and vendors as needed. The manager or sr. Manager, marketing communications will work collaboratively with associates across the communications team while providing guidance to associates in the role of coordinator, marketing communications on assigned projects.
*qualifications*
- ba/bs in marketing, journalism, public relations, or other relevant degree
- minimum three years of experience in social media, digital media, and/or public relations
- passion for travel and interest in cross-cultural communications
- proficiency in spanish is desirable, but not required
- knowledge of effective social media practices on key channels, specifically instagram, tiktok, facebook, twitter, and youtube, with an eye for emerging trends and a high comfort level with integration and content creation (both paid and unpaid)
- experience running advertising campaigns on instagram, tiktok, facebook, twitter, youtube, and google
- experience with social listening and managing user generated content programs
- business-oriented creative thinker
- willingness to take on all aspects of client campaigns, no matter how large or small the task
- strong written and verbal communication, editing, and research skills
- ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
- experience creating and managing budgets
- detail oriented self-starter
