we have an opportunity for a tax analyst to join our monterrey finance team.
this position will be responsible for analyzing and providing commentary and solutions on different taxation issues. The analyst utilizes tax information to create and implement strategies that keep a company competitive in its industry.
you will
* calculation and filing of monthly, annual, and informational tax returns (including withholding taxes, foreign partners, and compliance with transfer pricing regulations such as beps, as well as electronic accounting submissions).
* preparation and filing of vat refund requests.
* handling requests, audits, and official inspections from tax authorities.
* control and monitoring of withholding taxes on foreign payments.
* control and reconciliation of tax-related accounting accounts.
* assisting with annual statutory audits and preparing information for transfer pricing studies.
* submission of reports to inegi.
* oversight of electronic invoice cancellation requests from suppliers.
* supervise and manage the payroll tax calculation process, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations.
* act as a liaison with auditors and oversee social security tax audits.
* ensure compliance with social security tax regulations.
* collaborate with human resources (hr) and accounting teams.
* maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
key qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
* at least 5 years of experience in a tax analyst, accounting, or financial role.
* strong knowledge of tax regulations and experience in tax consulting.
* excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* attention to detail and accuracy.
* time management and organizational skills.
* proficiency in ms office and oracle
