*job summary*
provides leadership in the technical support to the manufacturing organization to ensure adherence to assembly procedures, on-going quality and efficiency, success of new product introductions and prototype production.
*essential duties and responsibilities*
- analyze the cycle times of the different operations.
- look for technical solutions that reduce standard costs.
- provide technical support to production collaborators.
- ensure collaboration between the different departments.
- support the deployment of the lean manufacturing approach.
- manage improvement projects.
- participate in the choice of new equipment and facilities.
- set up and follow corrective actions.
- establish project progress reports with earnings calculation in collaboration with accounting.
- be the nc process expert for the department (sme nc process): coordinate and support the resolution of the nc, participate in the improvement of the nc process and, if necessary, escalate to the management any risk of drift compared to the nc process.
