overview
we are looking for a proactive and results-oriented business development representative (bdr) to drive pipeline growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. This role is key in generating high-quality leads and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets.
key responsibilities
* identify and prospect new business opportunities through outbound (calls, emails, linkedin) and inbound lead follow-up.
* conduct initial qualification calls to assess customer needs, budget, and decision-making process.
* generate and nurture qualified leads (mqls → sqls) for the sales team.
* schedule meetings and product demos for account executives.
* maintain accurate and up-to-date crm records (e.g., salesforce, hubspot).
* collaborate closely with marketing and sales to align on campaigns and target accounts.
* execute account-based outreach strategies (abm).
* track and report on activity metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked, conversion rates).
* stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and value propositions.
required qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
* 1–3+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development (b2b preferred).
* strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* experience with crm tools and sales engagement platforms.
* highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient.
* ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
preferred qualifications
* experience in saas, it, or consulting industries.
* familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., meddicc, spin, challenger).
* experience with linkedin sales navigator or similar tools.
* exposure to account-based marketing (abm) strategies.
