ALTEN Mexico is looking for a Project Director.General Activities:The Project Director will have overall responsibility for the success of the project. This includes overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer satisfaction. The role will require strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the management of relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Pre-sales :Accompany Business Manager during their prospection meetingsAnticipate, collect, understand and analyse customer needsTake part in the process of internal review of the Request For Proposal (GO/NOGO)Write the technical part of the offerEstimate costs (human and material)Prepare the oral presentationIdentify productivity driversProject Portfolio Delivery :Validate staffing/unstaffingValidate the delivery slips and the reception reportsConstruction claims and change requestsPrepare and lead monthly steering committeesEnsure compliance with projects financial objectivesManage the optimisation plan for project margins and productivityEnsure the project financial reporting and contribute to arbitrations relating the DeliveryBe the customer privileged interlocutor on technical aspectsCan take direct management of complex projectsBe the quality deployment and compliance with ALTEN standards guarantorControl the operational and financial management toolsEnforce the behavioral rules in terms of quality, health, safety and environment defined by the Group and recommended by the customer.Team Management :Manage the project team: resources and skills allocated to the projectCoordinate Project Leaders and Team LeadersBe the manager of one or more Project Leader (HR, carreer interviews, ...)Pass on knowledge and ensure skills developmentOther activities :Participate or manager transversal projects in order to improve the Technical Direction or the GroupQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in managing large-scale projects.- Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.Skills:- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.- Proficiency in project management software and tools.- Fluent in English (spoken and written) is required.Join us !
