we are currently looking for an experienced head chef to join coya. This is seasonal position and advertised for future openings.
experience you will need:
* minimum 5 year of previous experience in a similar role in high-end brand
* previous experience in pre-opening
* relevant experience in a high-volume, high end kitchen environment and attention to detail
* to have excellent knowledge of food preparation, including working with limitations such as allergies
* to hold overall responsibility for kitchen staffing levels, keeping them in line with business trends whilst maintaining the highest standards of service and quality and adhering to agreed labour budget
* to be responsible for managing all staffing issues within the kitchen department including rotas, hiring, holiday cover, in-house training, professional development, performance management and day-to-day feedback on performance
* to consistently foster a spirit of harmony and cohesion between the kitchen brigade and all other departments
* to have a complete understanding and comply with the company policies relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety
* to be friendly, attentive and customer service focused
* it is essential to have a high level of both spoken and written spanish and english
