we are seeking a human resources business partner with labor relations experience to serve as a strategic partner and crucial liaison between plant management and the operational workforce. Your objective will be to ensure labor stability and business continuity through proactive, ethical, and bilingual management within a world-class manufacturing environment.
key responsibilities:
* b union management: administer and interpret collective bargaining agreements (cba), ensuring a productive and respectful relationship with the union.
* serve as the primary hr liaison within the remanufacturing/production floor, maintaining open and continuous communication with the union committee and business leadership to proactively prevent labor conflicts
* b legal compliance: ensure full compliance with mexican labor law & global policies
* b multi-level communication: act as an effective communication bridge, translating operational needs into strategic solutions for executive leadership.
* b consultative advisory: guide managers and supervisors in people-related decision-making, ensuring compliance with internal regulations and corporate integrity.
* b individual contributor: execute hr processes from end-to-end (investigations, strategic terminations, kpi reporting) with autonomy
ideal candidate profile:
* bachelor’s degree in law, industrial relations, psychology, h.r or related fields.
* b experience: 5+ years in senior labor relations roles within the heavy machinery or automotive industry. (desirable)
* deep understanding of the federal labor law (lft), contract legitimation processes, and international labor regulations
* b advanced english (mandatory). Ability to report and debate strategies with foreign executives.
* b skills: strong listening skills, non-confrontational approach, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
