under close and proper supervision, provide advisory and technical expertise to help and support our clients to guide them to a higher cyber security it design and deploy on their industrial control systems and operational technology. Will need good understanding and experience of networking and security concepts for ot side.
*position duties and responsibilities*
*essential functions*
- perform and lead analysis and risk assessments of the existing or new architecture and infrastructure of industrial automation control systems (iacs-scada, iiot) in terms of cybersecurity aligned with isa/iec 62443 and industry best practices.
- experience in design and deploying security solutions and network infrastructure such as switches, firewalls, system management hardening, device hardening, end point security, perimeter security, disaster recovery, threat detection and monitoring.
- conduct cybersecurity risk assessments of iacs/ot to understand vulnerabilities ensuring critical functions, availability, and safety.
- develop and execute iacs/ot cybersecurity training, documentation, presentations and awareness programs to customers and solutions partners.
- consultative technical skills to influence decision making, solid business acumen, proven team building to interact with partners during proposal, solutions development, and execution.
- experience in network architecture (industrial protocols cc-link ie, tsn/opc-ua, ethernet/ip, profinet, ether cat), plc and scada systems for data collection and analysis.
- experience in the conceptual design of control and information systems, including specifications of the hardware and software to be used in the system (aka. "front end engineering"); and able to support "detail design" analysis, cybersecurity requirements specification (crs), and preparation of client work packages.
- develop and maintain business relationships with external partners to support the company's resource needs.

- no supervisory or managerial duties.
*travel requirements*
- up to 50-60% travel based on customer demand, primarily within mexico.
- travel to us meau locations for technical meeting may be required.
*essential education, skills, and experience*
- degree in automation, computer science, or information technology engineering.
- proven hands on 3-5 years' experience in it/ot cybersecurity solutions for automation
- in-depth knowledge of security standards iec 62443/isa99, nist, others.
- strong microsoft office skills (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook)
- strong communication skills (proficient written and verbal english), allowing you to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- cisco, vmware, cybersecurity certificate is a plus (e.g., cssa, cacs, isa)

- must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods (50% of the time)."
