overview:
working as full-time logistics general, you will be working directly with fastenal's branches, distribution centers, and external freight carriers on freight invoice payments.
responsibilities:
the duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- processing freight claim discrepancies
- analyzing freight shipments to determine the internal expense department
- working in peoplesoft to process external carrier freight payments
- interacting with our branches
required position qualifications:
the following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- proficient using microsoft office suite
- highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
- demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
- exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
- learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- work independently as well as in a team environment
- demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
- ability to speak fluent spanish and english
preferred position qualifications:
- prior customer service experience
