job details:

as a senior it product owner, you'll collaborate closely with experienced product managers and cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on experience in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and market needs. Leveraging your strong analytical skills and passion for technology, you'll assist in gathering market insights, conducting user research, and prioritizing features to drive product development and innovation. You'll support the execution of product initiatives, coordinating activities such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user acceptance testing. With guidance and mentorship from seasoned professionals, you'll develop skills in product management, agile methodology, and stakeholder communication. As an integral member of the product management team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering value to customers and contributing to the success of our tech products and services.


essential duties and responsibilities:

1. product research: conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
2. user feedback analysis: gather and analyze user feedback through surveys, interviews, and usability testing to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
3. requirements gathering: collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and engineering teams, to gather and prioritize product requirements. All requirements must include a current and future state process map to be shared and signed off with your sponsor.
4. product planning: assist in creating and maintaining the product roadmap, defining features, and release timelines based on business objectives and user needs.
5. cross-functional collaboration: work with design, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and execution of product initiatives.
6. feature prioritization: help prioritize features and enhancements based on impact on user experience, business value, and technical feasibility.
7. project coordination: coordinate project activities, tasks, and timelines to meet milestones and deliverables.
8. documentation: create and maintain product documentation, including user stories, feature specifications, and release notes.
9. testing and validation: assist in user acceptance testing (uat) and validation of product features to ensure quality standards and user expectations are met.
10. performance monitoring: assist in defining and tracking kpis and metrics to measure product performance and success.
11. continuous improvement: seek opportunities for improvement, gathering feedback to iterate on product features and enhance user experience.
12. learning and development: stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in product management.
13. customer support: provide support to customer-facing teams, responding to inquiries, addressing issues, and assisting with training and onboarding.
14. team collaboration: share knowledge and insights with peers to foster collaboration and continuous learning.
15. strong communication skills: articulate ideas clearly, influence audiences, and drive stakeholder alignment.
16. leadership and mentorship: mentor junior team members and contribute to their growth.
17. industry knowledge: understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory considerations.

qualifications:

* education: bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
* preferred certification(s): relevant it certifications.
* experience: 3+ years of relevant or practical experience.
* skills:
o methodology: intermediate knowledge of agile product & waterfall methodologies.
o communication: effective presentation skills for senior leadership.
o decision-making: value-based decision-making.
o problem-solving: strong analytical skills.
o organization: managing time, prioritizing tasks, handling responsibilities.
