as leisure sales manager, you will focus on maximizing revenue through targeted sales efforts in the leisure segment—including fit, wholesale, ota, and travel agency accounts.
you will analyze leisure travel trends and work proactively to grow the hotel's market share within this segment.
specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:analyze leisure market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and drive bookings from the leisure segmentdevelop and maintain relationships with leisure travel partners such as tour operators, otas, consortia, and retail travel agenciestravel locally and/or internationally (as needed) to build relationships and attend leisure sales events or trade showsnegotiate room rates, package deals, and value-added offerings with leisure partners to maximize revenue and occupancyimplement creative sales strategies and promotions across leisure channels, including social media and online travel platformsprepare contracts for leisure accounts in accordance with current pricing strategies and hotel objectivescollaborate with other hotel departments (e.g. Reservations, front office, revenue) to ensure seamless guest experiences and support for leisure bookingsattend industry trade shows, sales calls, roadshows, and fam trips to promote the hotel within the leisure segmentproduce timely and accurate reports for the director of sales and senior leadership, including performance tracking and market insightsrespond to partner and client inquiries promptly and professionallysupport and coach junior members of the leisure sales team, contributing to performance and developmentwork within current business strategies while recognizing and pursuing new opportunities in emerging leisure marketswhat are we looking for?
