job details
we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior ruby on rails engineer to join our dynamic team in mexico city. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects using cutting-edge technology. We are a fast-paced, innovative company that values creativity, hard work, and the delivery of top-tier results. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in ruby on rails, emberjs or reactjs, and test driven development.
responsibilities
* designing, building, and maintaining large, scalable web applications.
* integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
* developing and maintaining apis and ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
* implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests using test driven development.
* identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to these problems.
* participating in code reviews, design discussions, and project related team meetings.
* working with product managers and team leads to define requirements and conduct system analysis.
* ensuring compliance with pci and hipaa standards in software development.
qualifications
* a minimum of 5 years of experience in ruby on rails development.
* proficiency in a modern javascript framework such as emberjs or reactjs.
* experience working within an aws environment with working knowledge of docker as a plus.
* strong understanding of test driven development.
* knowledge of pci and hipaa compliance standards is a plus
* proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining apis.
* a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
* must be proficient in english.
