Techno-functional business analyst – data & analyticsrole overview:we are looking for a techno-functional business analyst who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and data engineering teams. The role focuses on gathering and translating business requirements related to data integration, analytics, and reporting while supporting the development and optimization of enterprise data solutions.key responsibilitiesbusiness analysis & requirement gatheringwork closely with stakeholders from hr, finance, engineering, and other business units to gather and document business and reporting requirements.translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for data engineering and analytics teams.create and maintain brd, frd, process flows, and data mapping documents.data integration & analytics supportsupport integration of enterprise data sources and ensure alignment with business reporting needs.collaborate with data engineers on etl/elt processes, data pipelines, and data models.assist in defining kpis, metrics, and analytics models for reporting and dashboards.reporting & insightswork with bi teams to develop and enhance analytics dashboards and reporting solutions using tools such as power bi, databricks, or similar bi platforms.validate data accuracy and ensure reports meet stakeholder expectations.architecture & data governancecollaborate with it teams to support data architecture modernization and analytics frameworks.ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.project coordination & deliverytrack and manage tasks using jira or similar project management tools.provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and user support to ensure smooth adoption of solutions.coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.required skillsstrong experience in business analysis in data/analytics environments.understanding of data integration, etl/elt concepts, and data modeling.experience with sql and bi tools such as power bi, tableau, or databricks.experience with requirement documentation, stakeholder communication, and uat support.familiarity with agile / scrum methodologies and tools like jira.
