With 100 years of operation and an average employee tenure of 15 years, toro company is a strong place to build a career in ciudad juarez.job purpose:the manufacturing engineer (painting) will be responsible for the production process, as well as for activities involving any type of engineering study and change, applying world-class philosophy to continuously improve efficiency, productivity and cost reduction in the assembly areas.
Job duties & responsibilitiesin order to grow and build a successful career at the toro company, you will be responsible for:update and create the company's drawings (work instructions, visual aids, production line layout).update and create routers (standards) for production, costing, etc.responsible for engineering changes for timely implementation (ecm/ecn).responsible for initiating engineering programs when necessary.balance of production cells using mtm, time taking, most, yamazumi methodologies.assess processing capacity and density of painted parts.perform ergonomics and ehs studies on workstations.update and create engineering control plans.prepare pfmea and follow up with improvement actions.responsible for engineering studies when applicable.develop experiments (doe) when applicable.directly participate in achieving the efficiency and waste objectives of the business unit.follow all plant safety policies and other precautionary measures within the work area.comply with security policies and procedures.ensure compliance with the environmental management system.support supplier evaluations for services/products as needed.follow toro company's file management policies for information, records retention schedules, training and education, document retention notices, records destruction, dead file and information management, important records, and third-party providers if applicable.design of workstations, fixtures, tools, gauges or machinery for the assembly process.layout and process improvements.activities related to product engineering.the full job description will be provided to the final candidate at the time of the offer.
What do you need?Job qualifications – please submit resume in english to be considered.to be considered for this position, the following minimum requirements apply:bachelor’s degree in engineering.six to eight (6-8) years of experience in a related position.paint processes: powder coat paint.experience in autonomous and preventive maintenance for painting systems.autocad, solidworks, catia.ro systems.water treatment system and legal regulations for disposal.strong communication skills at all levels.microsoft office.english language proficiency.
Preferred requirements:sap (eng/mrp).knowledge of nordson systems.lean standard work.
