*about the job*:
provides financial planning, debt financing, and budget management to a medium to large sized company. Supports the senior controller to ensure company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles
*your tasks*:
- identifies problems, provides optional courses of action, and identifies likely outcomes.
- prepares reports that will serve as a basis for improving earnings and for reducing risks and supervises the execution of such plans.
- makes proposals for efficiency and profit improvements, participates in improvement projects.
- manages investment requests and ensures proper control over cash and investments.
- ensures the coordination standards and the financial policy/principles of the franke group are adhered to.
- supports the senior controller in the arranges and controls periodic physical inventories.
- supports the senior controller in the controlling monthly and yearly closings.
- prepares reports, which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
- supports the senior controller in the budget preparation, budget proposals, and prepares supporting documentation and justification.
- aid in the standard cost variances analysis.
- approves purchase requests according to budget/forecast.
- assists with audits of company's accounts.
- handle ad hoc analysis as needed by senior controller and other stakeholders
- reliable attendance is a must.
*requirements*:
- bs/ba degree in related field.
- three to six years prior related work experience.
