About the role
we are looking for a workday senior consultant to join our global people & culture technology team, contributing to the evolution and continuous improvement of our workday compensation, advanced compensation and benefits configuration.
you will be part of a mature workday environment where processes are well established, yet there is an active roadmap of enhancement projects that offer meaningful challenges and opportunities to innovate within the platform.
main responsibilities
* maintain, refine and optimize workday compensation, advanced compensation and benefits configuration within a global, standardized operating model.
* lead and participate in challenging improvement projects aimed at enhancing user experience, strengthening process efficiency and increasing automation—within the existing functional framework.
* support annual reward cycles (merit, bonus, allowances) by ensuring accurate configuration, testing and seamless execution in close collaboration with p&c stakeholders.
* configure and maintain benefits-related functional elements (plans, eligibility rules, events, validations), ensuring alignment with governance and system integrity—without providing operational enrolment support.
* analyse issues and change requests, providing expert insights and managing incident resolution and small enhancements end-to-end.
* develop clear documentation, configuration standards and knowledge-sharing assets.
* collaborate with p&c, it and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
what you'll bring
* 3-5 years hands-on experience with workday compensation, advanced compensation and benefits in a production support or continuous-improvement environment.
* deep understanding of compensation processes and configuration logic within workday.
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
* fluency in english and spanish.
nice to have
* experience in workday reporting, security or integrations linked to compensation and benefits configuration.
