The role (wider context): as a global, data- and technology-driven company, worldpanel is embracing new opportunities and challenges across the markets in which we operate, while continuing to strengthen our core business of consumer panels. Over the past three years, the latam team has significantly expanded its business and launched a global modernization program, introducing key organizational and methodological changes in operations. To help navigate evolving priorities while maintaining our business as usual (bau) commitments, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as a director, operations business partner. This role, which sits within the operations team, will act as the single point of contact for the commercial team, represent the voice of operations on local boards, and ensure clear assessment, prioritization, and ownership of business opportunities, quality incidents and revenue-strategic projects. The role is critical to ensuring alignment and successful execution of both regional and global strategic initiatives. The operations business partner will work closely with the regional commercial leader, country managing directors, product leaders, and the operations leader to ensure strategic cohesion, collaboration, and operational excellence across the region. As the operations business partner, you will be at the center of strategic decision-making—serving as the critical link between commercial and operations. This role is essential to protecting revenue and ensuring data quality—two pillars of our client value proposition. You will ensure operational readiness for new business, enabling scalable growth and reducing risk in commercial execution. By safeguarding data quality and sla compliance, you will directly impact client satisfaction, retention, and delivery excellence. As the single point of contact between commercial and operations, you will accelerate decision-making, resolve issues proactively, and drive alignment across teams. You will lead key regional projects, foster seamless cross-functional collaboration, and ensure that new business opportunities are both viable and sustainable. Key responsibilities cluster operations spoc - act as the primary operations representative for local commercial leaders.
- strengthen and foster effective communication between commercial and operations.
- participate in local boards and leadership meetings to align operational priorities with business goals.
- monitor, ensure and socialize compliance with slas.
- ensure management, prioritization and resolution of critical client-impacting quality incidents within operations.
- ensure internal (worldpanel) and external (client) data quality requirements are met. Client engagement enablement - support commercial by enabling operations to actively participate in client conversations.
- provide operational (technical) insights and solutions that enhance client satisfaction and deliver quality. Project ownership & execution - foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the ops team.
- lead and oversee key operational regional projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. This includes project kpis and metrics.
- identify and remove roadblocks to accelerate project delivery and impact.
- collaborate across the latam operations team to ensure effective prioritization and dependency management. New business evaluation - own the operational assessment for new business opportunities (e.g., new categories, attributes, or services).
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement scalable and sustainable solutions. Silo effect prevention - promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure shared ownership and impact assessment across departments.
- ensure timely communication and coordination between local, regional and global ops teams.
- act as a connector between teams to prevent duplication of efforts and misalignment.

- delivery of operations ogsps linked to operations. Skills, knowledge, and experience required: - proven experience in operations leadership, business partnering, or strategic project management—preferably in a data-driven or technology-enabled environment.
- strong understanding of operational processes, data quality standards, and client delivery in a service-based business.
- proven experience in the management of complex, matrixed regional, teams and programes
- proven experience in prioritization and change management in a complex, regional environment.
- comfortable working to tight deadlines in a client-centric culture.
- demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex operational topics into business-relevant insights.
- experience working in a regional or multi-country context, ideally within latam.
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and impact delivery.
- fluency in english and spanish (written and spoken). Preferred: - experience in consumer panels, market research, or data acquisition environments.
