create design release packages including: cad models (3d & 2d); cef (design section); frame chart; weld drawings & reports; visual aids and documentation.develop gd&t (asme y14.5) for: components, subassemblies, assemblies, including plp/datums and dimensional variation analysis (dva).
provide design solutions for: testing and prototype fixtures, shipping, handling, coating racks, tooling constraints (forming & assembly); across different industrialization stages.participate in: design reviews, manufacturing concern meetings.support continuous improvement in: cad modeling techniques and product definition aligned with iatf *.participate in: dfmea & pfmea workshops and documentation for product lifecycle.lead: design for six sigma (dfss) and lean projects for process improvementcomply with: environmental and quality management system responsibilities.technical skillsfinite element analysis (static, modal, dynamic,fatigue)bench testing knowledgedesign standards (iso ts-*, asme y14.5)problem-solving tools (a3, dfmea, fishbone, pareto)materials engineeringmechanical & automotive design fundamentalsmanufacturing processes (forming, assembly, welding, logistics)design for six sigma & leanjob profile b.s. in mechanical engineering or similar (ime / ima / imt / ida)advanced english (toeflibt 94+)advanced cad (nx or catia)3 years of experience in a similar role
